The work centers on natural hair and on keeping the hair as a whole healthy. Clients need at least 4 inches of length to book, and relaxed hair is not serviced, since all clients must have natural hair. Color services are not started until the overall health of the hair has been assessed at the first appointment.

New clients begin with the New Client Bundle, a two-hour visit that includes a hair evaluation, a conditioning or protein treatment, shampoo, a trim and styling, with a possible extra fee for Thick Hair. Returning clients can choose from treatment bundles built around shampoo, a treatment and styling, including conditioning, protein, dandruff, deluxe steam with a head massage, aloe vera, and red light therapy after a scalp analysis. A trim is added to these bundles.

Blowout options include Treatment Tuesdays and Working Woman Wednesdays, which are bookable only for returning clients on those days. Three membership tiers cover set numbers of blowouts, treatments and trims. A one-on-one silk press class covers technique, product and aftercare, trimming ends and marketing tips, with a $100 deposit paid online and the balance on class day. Trim Only can be added to other services.

A $25 deposit is required from all clients, sent by invoice and non-refundable. Appointments can be rescheduled once without a fee. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows incur a fee of 75 percent of the service price, and the deposit can be applied to a future appointment within 30 days of cancelling. A $15 late fee applies up to 15 minutes after the scheduled time. Shop orders, such as Priss Puffs Portable Hookahs, take 3 to 4 business days to process, excluding weekends and holidays.
