The founding stylists had a combined 15 years behind the chair before opening, and the salon was started as an alternative to the standard four-week color appointment, with a focus on low-maintenance color and personalized cuts.

Menu prices are general ranges and are not adjusted to a client's hair history. For a more accurate quote, clients can fill out a digital consultation form or email their stylist. Appointments are booked online through Vagaro, and clients who hear nothing within 48 hours of an email can text the salon. New clients who are unsure which stylist suits them can take the Stylist Match Quiz, which recommends a stylist based on hair goals, preferences and the experience the client wants.

Chloe and Jacqui worked together at Hair & Body Day Spa and Salon before it became Elite Studios. They shared a suite afterward, and Jacqui suggested they open a salon of their own, which led to Evergreen. The North Water Avenue location was chosen after the team first viewed the space.

Visits are meant to feel welcoming and unhurried. Clients can bring a laptop or take quiet time during appointments, seasonal drinks and snacks are offered in the waiting area, and personalized treatments can be tailored to individual needs.

The salon focuses on low-maintenance color and personalized cuts, and aims for each visit to leave clients feeling confident and refreshed.
