Ev's Esthetics

Ev's Esthetics is a one-person skin care business in Lee's Summit, located in Suite 107 at 1160 NE Douglas Street. The studio centers on acne, and it also offers treatments for fine lines and dullness, uneven tone and discoloration, and dryness or irritation.

Each treatment is customized to the client's skin and starts with a full skin analysis. LED therapy is part of every treatment, though not every treatment uses every modality. The equipment and methods on offer include Celluma LED therapy, high frequency, Oxygen RX treatments, chemical peels in light, medium, and deep strengths, enzyme therapy, dermaplaning, gentle extractions, cryo globes, corrective masks, and a firming peptide treatment. Massage options include a lymph-inspired facial massage and massage of the hands, arms, neck, shoulders, and scalp.

The Acne Relief Program is the studio's longest offering. The two-hour initial visit covers an in-depth skin analysis, a consultation, a review of routine and lifestyle factors, and a first customized acne treatment, and it includes full-size take-home products and a step-by-step treatment plan. Follow-up acne treatments are $120 each. Most clients are advised to book a facial every four to six weeks, and acne clients may need more frequent visits at first.

Policies: cancellations made within 24 hours of an appointment are charged 50% of the scheduled service, and no-call, no-show appointments are charged the full 100%. Late cancellations may be handled with flexibility when possible. Opened or used products cannot be returned or refunded for sanitary reasons. After a facial, clients should avoid excessive heat, heavy sweating, and exfoliation right away.

Treatments are built around each client's skin, with the aim of healthier skin in a relaxed setting. The studio focuses on understanding the cause of skin concerns rather than only their surface signs.
