Body waxing covers arms, underarms, legs, back, shoulders, chest, stomach, butt, hands, knees, inner thighs, toes and nipples, with many areas offered as a strip, half or full. First-time guests can book extra time for a consultation with a wax specialist. Reservations usually take 10 to 45 minutes, and full body visits can take 45 minutes to an hour. Before a waxing visit, guests are asked to let hair grow to about a quarter inch; first-time guests are advised to stop shaving at least two weeks ahead. The company recommends waxing every three to four weeks. After a bikini wax, the aftercare advice is to avoid hot showers, baths, saunas, pools, tight clothing and strenuous exercise for 24 hours, and to skip exfoliation for 48 hours. Cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead, or missed reservations, may be charged 50% of the scheduled service's total.
Wax Passes come in single-center, redeem-anywhere, unlimited and student options, with the student option offered at select centers by contacting the center. Many passes do not expire, and the pre-paid passes can save up to 25% per service. New guests who buy nine services receive three free, available in center only. The Unlimited pass is a flat yearly price for unlimited visits to one chosen service over 365 days, and it covers options such as bikini, Brazilian, eyebrow, full-face and underarm waxing. Passes are non-transferable and members can earn points on services and products through EWC Rewards.
