Esthetics Advanced was founded by Mariya, a licensed esthetician who runs the business as its technician. The practice has two Carmichael locations, one on Frontier Way and one at Fair Oaks Boulevard, Suite 103.

The facial menu runs from a 45-minute Ageless Facial at $95 up to a 1 hour 45 minute Anti-Aging Facial at $205. The Essential Glow Facial is the signature option, a customized facial for all skin types that includes a double cleanse, extractions and a facial massage. Microdermabrasion and enzyme facials are also offered, and microdermabrasion can be combined with chemical peels for hyperpigmentation, acne, acne scars and hyperkeratosis. Add-ons such as high frequency, ultrasound, microcurrent, nano-infusion and dermaplaning can be added to a facial. Microcurrent comes with listed contraindications, including metal implants, pacemakers, electrophobia and migraines, so clients are asked to speak with the therapist before booking.

Waxing is offered for both men and women, with separate menus for face and body. The business describes its waxing products and techniques as advanced and says they help reduce inflammation and discomfort. The Brazilian wax is priced by timing: a first-time service for clients who have never had it or whose last wax was more than five weeks earlier, and a keep-up service for clients whose last wax was up to five weeks earlier. Body treatments include hot stone, anti-cellulite, body scrubs, body wraps and back facials.

Esthetics Advanced also offers professional continuing education for licensed professionals and students. Classes include Advanced Skin Analysis, Signature Facials, Modalities 101, Microdermabrasion, Peels 500, Treating Aging Skin, Acne Treatments and Advanced Modalities. A 3-hour California State Board Practical class is available for beauty students with an expected graduation date, and practice kits are included in that class and can be rented, bought or leased.
