The practice describes itself as a cosmetic dermatology practice and says it serves clients from across Los Angeles, other states and more than 70 countries.

The practice has built several of its own technologies. Neustem is a proprietary injectable blend of fillers and growth factors that Dr. Ourian developed and trademarked. Coolaser is a laser he developed for skin resurfacing, and Coolbeam is a laser system he developed for stretch marks and body resurfacing. The practice also describes Coolaser as patented, and NeuSculpt uses targeted radiofrequency energy to tighten and tone treated body areas.

Dr. Ourian also started the Epione Signature Series skin care line after finding few pharmaceutical-grade products he felt comfortable recommending to patients early in his practice.

Every new client begins with a consultation. In-person consultations take place at the Beverly Hills office with Dr. Ourian and the team and cost $500, which is credited in full toward a first treatment. Virtual consultations start with a 10-minute online form where clients share photos, goals and concerns; the team follows up within 24 hours with a personalized plan, and a $100 deposit is applied to treatment. Treatment is by appointment only, and pricing for most treatments is set at consultation based on the areas treated, the technologies used and the number of sessions.

Cosmetic procedures are elective and not covered by insurance. Financing is available for qualified patients, all major credit cards are accepted, and documentation can be provided for FSA or HSA reimbursement where applicable. Appointments can be booked by phone, through the website or through Instagram.

Treatment plans are built around each patient's proportions and goals, with the aim of results that look natural rather than done. The practice says it makes sure patients understand their options and the risks and limitations of a procedure before treatment.

Treatment rooms are set up to feel more like consultation rooms than medical suites.
