Embeauty Lash Bar

Embeauty Lash Bar works by appointment only, Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5:30 pm. Text is the preferred way to reach the salon, at 781-898-9389.

Lash extensions are the main focus. A full set is applied one lash at a time with a medical-grade adhesive while the client lies down with eyes closed, and the bottom lashes are shielded with a hydrogel eye pad. A full set takes roughly 105 to 180 minutes depending on the style chosen. Clients who already have extensions from another salon can book an infill, and current clients can book refills, which take about 45 to 120 minutes depending on how many of the natural lashes remain. Refills are recommended every two to three weeks.

The salon says extensions typically last two to four weeks, depending on the natural lash cycle and skincare, and that they do not cause natural lashes to fall out. It advises booking a refill once about half to 60 percent of the extensions are gone.

Before a visit, clients are asked to arrive without eye makeup and to skip curling or mascara the day before and the day of the appointment. Afterward, the salon recommends water-based makeup and remover only, no perms, tints or eyelash curlers, and no pulling or rubbing the lashes. Lash shampoo and mascara brushes are provided for daily cleaning. The bonding agent is water- and oil-resistant, so lashes can get wet right after application.

Lash and brow lifts and waxing round out the menu. Waxing is not recommended for clients using Retin-A, Accutane, alpha hydroxy products or other skin-thinning treatments. Gift certificates, products and packages can be bought through the online booking page.

Services are applied one-to-one, with a patch test offered to new clients or anyone prone to allergies.
