The salon is on the upper level of the Broad Street Mill, a building about a century old that also holds boutique, yoga and antique shops. To find it, come in through the main entrance on the upper level and follow the long hallway down to the salon. Services are by appointment only, and the salon is closed Sundays and Mondays. Clients are offered a drink on arrival, such as coffee, water, hot tea, soda or juice, and complimentary Wi-Fi, snacks and phone chargers are available. New clients fill out a short pre-consultation form covering hair goals, schedule and budget before their first visit, and every visit opens with a conversation about the goals for that day and beyond. Color is custom blended for each client and recorded at every visit. All services include a shampoo and blow dry.

Bridal clients can book hair and makeup. A $100 deposit is due at booking and is credited to the final payment, and a basic contract is required. A trial run is required for the bride and optional for other wedding party members. Split payments are not offered; the bride pays the lead stylist, who pays the other stylists. The salon suggests wearing a button-up shirt and arriving with clean, dry hair or a clean, moisturized face.

Prices listed are starting prices and can be higher depending on length, density, the stylist and other factors. Cancellations must be made by phone at least 24 hours ahead. A $50 no-show fee applies to cancellations made later than that, and it must be paid before rebooking. Cash, check and card are accepted.

Each visit closes with a review of the maintenance schedule, booking of the next appointment and at-home care advice. Stylists keep up with trends and techniques through continuing education.

The salon aims to give clients a relaxing, uplifting visit and a look suited to them.
