The salon describes itself as South Tampa's best hair salon and says it was voted South Tampa's Best Kept Secret and South Tampa's Best Salon. According to the website, the founder of the original boutique was featured in a video series about trendy salons in the USA.

Hours are Tuesday to Friday 9am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 7pm, and Sunday 11am to 7pm. Same-day appointments are usually available, according to the website. Color pricing can vary with hair texture, length and desired style, and extra bowls and toners are charged extra. Cuts lasting longer than two hours carry an extra fee, and a detangling fee applies if very tangled hair is not detangled before a cut.

Every appointment must be reserved with a credit card, which is charged for cancellations. Late cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are charged a 50% service fee, and no-shows are charged the full service price. Extension deposits are non-refundable.

Cherry, a buy now, pay later company, provides payment plans. These include options with no hard credit check and 0% APR, as well as interest-bearing plans with APRs as low as 5.99% and approvals up to $30,000. Gift cards can be bought online, and the gift card page lists Elevate as a small business.

Services are shaped around the individual client's hair, from texture and length to the look they want, and stylists keep their education current.
