Eddie Arthur Salon was founded by Eddie Rubinov and Arthur Shamalov. The two met more than a decade ago as apprentices at the salon AKS, then worked together at Oscar Blandi on Madison Avenue in New York. They became partners with the shared goal of opening a salon of their own.

Eddie Arthur Salon was founded by Eddie Rubinov and Arthur Shamalov. The two met more than a decade ago as apprentices at the salon AKS, then worked together at Oscar Blandi on Madison Avenue in New York. They became partners with the shared goal of opening a salon of their own.

The salon has two locations. The Bridgehampton salon is at 2422 Montauk Highway, open Monday to Wednesday 9am to 7pm, Thursday 10am to 8pm, Friday 9am to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 6pm. The Manhattan salon occupies the fourth and fifth floors of 29 East 61st Street. At both locations, prices vary with the length and thickness of the hair.

Hair services cover cutting and styling for women, men and children, blow-dries, signature blowouts, braids and up-dos. Color includes single process, highlights, balayage and color correction, with color correction and balayage listed at the Manhattan salon. Keratin treatments are offered in Bridgehampton, in an express version and a longer-lasting version.

Skin services range from targeted peels, masks and microdermabrasion to full facials, including a 60-minute maintenance facial and a 90-minute luxury customized facial at Manhattan. Quick fix mini treatments offer a shorter route to a facial, microdermabrasion or peel. Nail, spray tan, makeup and waxing services round out the menu.
