By its own account, the business has worked in bridal and special occasion makeup for more than 20 years. It says it has received The Knot Best Of Weddings and WeddingWire Couples awards over the last 15 years and was inducted into The Knot Hall of Fame. Cindy Singer owns the business, which is run alongside a team of five makeup artists.

Each makeup look is built around the client's own style and comfort level. The business says it has experience working with clients from many ethnicities and cultures, and it will use a client's favorite products during the application if they prefer. Clients can choose between an airbrush foundation finish or a traditional foundation in formats from powder to tinted moisturizer, BB or CC cream, liquid, bronzer, or no foundation at all.

Brides can book a free bridal makeup trial with no obligation to book. Trials are allotted an hour but often take about 45 minutes, and they cover details such as the dress, hair, flowers and bridesmaid dress colors. Once services are officially booked, the artists create a makeup timeline. Securing a wedding date requires a non-refundable $25 save-the-date fee and a signed contract, and dates are first come, first served and are not held without them. There is no minimum party size, and non-bridal-party guests can book while the artist waits for the bride, paying the same rate as the bridal party. A wedding-day application takes about 30 minutes, with 30-minute buffers before and after. The business has started makeup as early as 4:00 AM. Travel fees vary by distance and travel time, and for round trips of three hours or more an overnight stay for the artist may be considered, depending on the start time. Last-minute add-ons that are not in the contract must be paid in full on the day of service.

The business donates a portion of its net proceeds to Pixie Dust Wishes, a nonprofit that sends people with disabilities and their families to Disney. According to the business, the organization has helped send 18 children with disabilities and their families to Disney.
