Drop Dead Gorgeous

Drop Dead Gorgeous was started in 2020 inside a suite and later moved into a storefront on Johnson Street. Cody-John Marks owns and runs the business, which is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 12 PM to 7 PM, and closed Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

The facial menu has five options. The Ultimate Fire and Ice Facial is a multi-step clinical treatment aimed at resurfacing skin and reducing the look of fine lines, taking 75 minutes for $200. The Deluxe Custom Facial runs 75 minutes for $180 and includes two custom masks, massage and a stress-relieving facial massage. The Maintenance Custom Facial is a 45-minute option for $160 with two masks, massage and aromatherapy steam towels. Men have their own versions: a 75-minute Men's Deluxe Facial for $180, customized to men's skin and including beard oil when applicable, and a shorter 45-minute Men's Maintenance Facial for $160.

Lash and brow work is a large part of the menu. The business describes its Lash Lift and Tint as its award-winning and most requested service. It is offered alone for 60 minutes at $150, with results the business says last about 6 to 8 weeks with proper aftercare, or as a 90-minute combo with Hybrid Brows for $250 or with Brow Lamination, including brow wax and tint, for $275. Brow Lamination is a semi-permanent styling treatment covering shaping, wax and tint. The Hybrid Brow Stain and Wax uses a skin stain that lasts 6 to 8 days along with waxing and shaping.

Waxing covers the brows, lip, chin, ears, nose, neck and sideburns. Single-area waxes are short add-ons at $20, a Full Face Wax covers lip, chin, neck and sideburns for $60 with nose optional, and a Men's Total Grooming Combo for $75 includes ear wax, nose wax and brow trimming and shaping. Lash tint and brow tint are also offered on their own. The business has set policies: cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of an appointment are charged a 100% fee, and arriving 15 or more minutes late is treated as a no-show and charged accordingly.
