Services are organized into haircutting, haircoloring and other hair services. Haircuts are split by whether you are new to the salon or to a stylist, with a longer first visit that includes a consultation, shampoo and conditioner, cut and styling finish. Returning clients with a current stylist book a shorter cut. Color services range from toner and gloss and single process color for root retouching, grey coverage or going darker, to foil and balayage highlights, face frame highlights, bleach with toner, color blocking, and creative color correction that can run four hours or more. Curly and coily textures have their own cut, which includes a detox scrub and a moisture mask.

Special occasion styling begins with a consultation and a blow dry before the style, and it is booked by email first. Extensions are tape-in Bellami hair extensions fitted by Nicole Derba, and a consultation and price estimate are requested by email.

The salon is set up as a place where stylists can work in more than one way. Stylists can join as employees paid on commission, at 46 to 48 percent, choosing their own hourly rate with no backbar or color fees. Booth rental is also available, with limited openings, at 95 dollars per day, invoiced monthly, with 24/7 access. The salon hosts traveling stylists and in-house educators, and runs team meetings and regular one-on-one meetings for its stylists.

Education is treated as the foundation of the salon, with the aim of bringing current techniques to clients and supporting staff growth. The salon also commits to sustainability, low-tox products, less waste and recycling where possible.

The space is filled with natural light and plants, with a warm, welcoming feel.
