The business describes itself as purpose-driven, with a stated aim of supporting the well-being of clients, team members and community, and of creating a space where everyone belongs.

Every visit can start with a free 15-minute Hair Design Consultation, a chat with a stylist about hair goals and pricing estimates. The consultation is required before big changes, color corrections, fashion shades, keratin treatments, detangling and hair extension installation. A haircut includes a short consultation, a shampoo with scalp massage, the cut and a simple blow-dry, or a consultation followed by an extended dry cut. Clients with curly hair are asked to arrive with their hair styled the way they wear it day to day, so the natural curl pattern can be read.

Options include hand-painted balayage without foils, foilyage done in foils with high or low impact, babylights, highlights, mini highlights, allover color, root touch-ups, gloss, and grey coverage and blending. Allover bleach and Color Correction are also offered, with a free 15-minute consultation for correction work, and a 50% deposit is required when a correction is expected to run past three hours. Red hair color and custom red color with dimension are listed as their own category.

Stylist pay and training are part of how the salon describes itself. All salons are certified sustainable, and the business states that it is a certified B Corp.
