Dolce Glow Kansas City was founded in 2023 and works with Dolce Glow solutions, which the business describes as clean and cruelty-free. It has two locations: the Liberty studio at 8630 NE 85th St, known as The Beauty Lounge, and the Parkville location at 7024 Elizabeth St, known as Healthy Looks Med Spa. The business describes its tans as luxury, and the owner also offers mobile tans.

Classic options include a 20-minute student tan at $55 and a 20-minute teacher or military tan at $60, along with a standard tan with a Dolce Glow artist at $180 or with the founder and owner at $210. A face contour add-on is $10. Bundles include the Tuxedo Tan at $150, which covers a trial tan and a wedding day tan, the Bronzed Beauty bundle at $180 for three tans at 20% off retail, and the Golden Glow bundle at $220 for four tans at 25% off retail. Both multi-tan bundles are used within 90 days of purchase. The Bridal Bundle is priced by request and includes a luxury tan, a trial spray with face contour, a wedding spray with face contour and a bridal gift. Every tan comes with a hydrating tan lengthener, disposables, lip hydration, barrier cream and drying powder. Results vary with skin chemistry and aftercare.

Before a session, clients avoid lotions, perfumes and deodorants and wear dark, loose-fitting clothing to and from the appointment. Tans are not applied over sunburned skin, and appointments are declined if a client arrives sunburned. Spray tanning does not protect against UV exposure. Appointments carry a 10-minute grace period; arriving later cancels the visit, requires rescheduling and charges the full appointment cost, and a missed appointment without notice is charged in full. Appointments outside business hours add $20 per tan, booking another appointment requires a 50% deposit, men must wear bottoms (disposable shorts can be provided), and all services are non-refundable.

The Glow store sells a Kansas City crew neck for $35, a Dolce Glow Kansas City tee for $25 in sizes M and L, and an aftercare kit for $15 that includes Aveeno body wash and lotion and an exfoliating mitt.
