The studio personalizes hair care to each client and treats the health of the locs as its first priority. New clients begin with a 30-minute consultation, $50, that covers loc health and how to maintain locs at home.

The menu spans the full loc journey. Starter locs can be created with brick-lay, triangle or diamond parts, or with crochet for an instant start. Comb retwists range from a basic refresh to versions with shampoo, styling, twists, rope twists or curls, and crochet retwists are priced by loc count. Single-loc and small-group repairs use crochet to strengthen weak locs, and longer-term clients can add loc extensions with retightening every six weeks.

Studio hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm. Bookings open up to two weeks ahead and require a deposit. Arriving more than 15 minutes late incurs a fee, and appointments may be cancelled after 30 minutes with the deposit forfeited. Changes need to be made at least 48 hours ahead, and a no-call, no-show is charged half the service to the card on file.

The studio describes its approach as holistic, tailoring each visit to the client's hair and keeping loc health at the center.
