Diosa Hair was founded by Evelyn Castillo, an independent hairstylist. The studio draws its inspiration from Latina beauty, confidence and culture, and its stated goal is for every client to leave feeling confident.

Visits are one-on-one and by appointment in a private suite. Color and extension work is customized to each client's lifestyle, upkeep goals and personal style. According to the salon, its services are luxury hair color and extension work that grows out well. Hours are Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM, and closed Sundays.

Blonding is the core of the menu, with hand-painted balayage, a balayage and foil blend called foilayage, partial and full highlights, and a face-frame foil service known as a money piece. Every blonding service includes a K18 repair treatment. For gray coverage and regrowth, root touch ups are suggested every four to eight weeks, and all-over color is available from roots to ends.

Extensions and smoothing are also offered. A free consultation about hair history and goals, about 15 minutes, is required before any extension appointment. The NKST natural keratin smoothing treatment is described as reducing frizz and curl, lasting up to five months, and is priced by hair length and density. Pro+Smoothfiller is a demi-permanent express smoothing option that the salon says lasts up to three months.

Cancellations or service changes need at least 24 hours notice. Same-day cancellations are charged 50% of the scheduled services, and so is a no-call, no-show. Clients who expect to be late should let the salon know. Color or toner adjustment requests must be made within five days of the original appointment, and gift card sales are final. The salon does not offer refunds.
