About

Medical, surgical, cosmetic and pediatric dermatology are all offered in one practice, and an aesthetician team provides facials and skin treatments that complement the physician's in-office care.

The practice works on a direct care model. It does not contract with insurance companies or submit insurance claims, so there are no copays and no surprise bills, and charges are reviewed with the patient before checkout. Payment is due in full at the visit by cash, major credit cards, or HSA or FSA funds for non-cosmetic care. Uninsured patients can request a Good Faith Estimate before non-emergency care, and a bill at least $400 above that estimate can be disputed.

Medical visits are priced by whether the patient is new or established and by the number of problems addressed, and repeat monthly follow-ups for certain listed conditions are offered at a reduced fee. Virtual visits are available to patients located in Michigan, who call the office to schedule. Full body skin exams are offered for skin cancer screening, and surgical procedures require an in-office evaluation before they are booked. Prescriptions can be sent to a pharmacy of the patient's choice or filled at the in-house pharmacy.

Cosmetic care includes neuromodulators such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Daxxify, dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane, and biostimulatory treatments including Sculptra and platelet rich fibrin. Laser options include UltraClear, DermaV, PicoSure Pro and XERF, with laser packages available depending on treatment needs. XERF is a non-invasive radiofrequency skin tightening treatment with no needles and no downtime, and a laser consultation is needed before booking it. The practice says it is the first XERF location in Metro Detroit and the first Glacé location in Michigan.

An on-site skincare boutique carries dermatologist-recommended products, and the practice sells the Dermy Doc Box subscription of full-size products as well as gift cards.

Works on a direct care model with fees shared before treatment, aiming for cosmetic results that are subtle and natural-looking.
