Peels are a major part of the menu. The Elaine Brennan line includes a 30-minute peel consultation at $50, which is applied to the cost of the peel, a Red Carpet Peel at $75, and the Get Glowing Peel at $200, a milder option with little to no downtime that the spa created for darker skin types and that requires no consultation. The Skin Renewal Peel at $800 is a three-session treatment of two 2-hour peels and a 1-hour follow-up, and it requires a mandatory consultation. The spa says the peel has been tested for safety and efficacy for over 35 years, that it was the first provider in Northern Virginia to offer the system, that the formulas use USP and FDA approved ingredients, and that skin continues to improve for 8 to 12 months afterward. Face Reality is the spa's acne program, which the business describes as a certified acne clinic. Services begin with a 30-minute consultation at $50, applied to the service price, that covers the process, aftercare, and contraindications. Custom home care is offered for every age, gender, acne type, and skin type, and treatment protocols take diet and lifestyle into account. The spa says acne can be brought under control in about three to four months without prescription medications, and that its approach is not one size fits all. Visits run Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am to 4pm and Thursday and Friday from 10am to 6pm. First-time clients are asked to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for paperwork, and late arrivals may have their service shortened to end on time. Cancellations need 24 hours notice, and changes made with less notice are charged 50% of the service price. A 4% processing fee applies to credit and debit payments.
