Depilais describes itself as a broad beauty and hair removal business that meets biosafety and quality standards. Its Florida studios are on Central Florida Parkway and Semoran Boulevard in Orlando, and in Kissimmee, Altamonte Springs, Davenport and St. Cloud (Narcoossee). The Texas studio is on Westheimer Parkway in Katy. Opening hours vary by location, but every studio is closed on Sundays.

About

Body waxing makes up much of the menu and covers underarms, arms, legs, bikini line, Brazilian, stomach, back, chest, buttocks and butt strip, with separate options for women and men. Some services, such as Brazilian and buttock waxing for women and butt strip waxing for women, are offered only to women. Waxing needs at least three weeks of hair growth. It is not recommended for clients using certain dermatological treatments, retinol or salicylic or glycolic acid, or for anyone allergic to wax, and threading or tweezing is offered as the alternative. Facial hair can be removed by waxing, threading or tweezing, and some facial hair is also addressed with IPL.

Laser and light hair removal is offered in two forms. Candela laser hair removal is listed for legs, underarms, bikini line, face and back, with four to eight sessions generally recommended depending on skin type, hair colour and treated area. Possible side effects listed include redness, swelling, irritation and, rarely, burning. IPL hair removal uses intense pulsed light, which the site says is absorbed by the pigment in the hair. Sessions are spaced according to the specialist's advice, and IPL is listed for women only. It is not recommended for very light or grey hair, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and clients are asked to avoid waxing, tweezing, sun exposure, retinol, acid products and certain medications for 30 days beforehand, and to shave one or two days before.

Brow services include waxing, threading, tweezing, henna and hybrid tinting, brow lamination, and Hydro-Brow after waxing. Brow lamination with a deluxe tint uses the studio's own castor oil brow product. Micropigmentation covers powder, microblading and microshading techniques, with a touch-up offered about 45 days after the first session and a neutralization service for earlier work. A free allergy test can be done three days before a henna tint. Eyelash services include removal, classic, hybrid, volume, mega volume, wispy and Brazilian volume extensions, lash lifting with tint, and refills. Refills are only done on sets previously applied by the studio's specialists. For a first eyelash service, the site advises that allergic reactions cannot be ruled out in advance, and the specialist explains the products at the appointment.

Facial treatments include deep cleansing, deep facials with a chemical peel, exosome or PDRN add-ons, dermaplaning, dermapen microneedling, hydrating and anti-aging facials, microdermabrasion, hydro lip color, and removal of warts or milia. Treatments without a facial must be booked within 21 days of a deep facial at Depilais. Appointments are booked through the appointment button on each location's page, and a phone number is required so the studio can confirm. Reminders are sent by text message. A monthly membership with exclusive offers is also available.

The business says it follows strict hygiene and safety protocols and uses products from top brands. Treatments are described as personalized to each skin type and need.
