Much of the work centers on curly hair. A curly cut and style starts with a dry cut on natural hair, shaped around the client's own curl pattern, followed by tips for caring for the hair at home. Products used include Innersense and other curl-friendly brands.

Color work covers root retouches and full color refreshes from roots to ends, as well as highlight and color transformations that can be subtle or bold, including changes to a color that is significantly lighter than the client's current shade.

First-time clients are encouraged to begin with a signature cut and style, and color or highlight work can be talked through at that first visit. First-time color clients need either a cut and style or a virtual consultation before color, and first-time highlight clients start with a cut and style.

Work starts from the client's natural hair and its curl pattern, with at-home care guidance included.
