Each visit begins with an evaluation of the skin and a review of medical history, which leads to a plan covering both cosmetic and medical goals. Consultations go over the skin, medical history and aesthetic goals, and explain the benefits, expected results and recovery time for each option. Same-day appointments are available.

The cosmetic side centers on Botox and dermal fillers, with Juvederm and Restylane used for lip and other filler work. Laser options include Laser Genesis, Fraxel, IPL photofacials and radiofrequency skin tightening, and body contouring is available through CoolSculpting, Exilis Ultra, TempSure Envi and Thermage. Medical dermatology covers acne, eczema, rosacea, hives, hair loss, shingles and other common conditions, along with mole, wart and cyst removal.

Pricing given by the practice: a Botox consultation costs $250 and is applied toward a same-day treatment or a later appointment, while Botox is priced by treatment area with exact figures set at consultation. Hours are Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and the office is closed on weekends. Cash, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted; checks are not.

Aims for restrained results that look refreshed rather than overdone, with treatment plans built around each patient's facial anatomy, skin quality and goals.

Visits are unhurried and personal, in a boutique practice on the Upper East Side.
