DB NAILROOM

DB Nailroom is an appointment-only nail salon at 5623 South Main Street, Suite G, in Crosby, Texas. Its listed services are Builder Gel manicures, which are structured manicures done in hard gel on natural nails, Gel X extensions, and soak-offs. Designs, nail art and add-ons are charged separately for Builder Gel and Gel X work. The portfolio also shows acrylic sets, short acrylic sets, gel manicures and BIAB structured gel manicures.

Plan for a long visit. Builder Gel and Gel X appointments take 120 minutes or more, while a soak-off takes about 30 minutes. Gel X sets have no fills or refills, so every Gel X visit is booked as a new set, and Gel X fills are not offered for Builder Gel manicures. Soak-offs done on the salon's own work are charged at a lower rate than a soak-off alone.

Booking is by deposit, and children are not allowed. Deposits cannot be transferred and can be moved only with at least 24 hours' notice; a new deposit is needed after more than one reschedule or a change made with less than 24 hours' notice. Arrivals have a 10-minute grace period, after which the appointment is canceled and the deposit is forfeited. Late cancellations, reschedules and no-shows lose the deposit and carry a 50% charge of the service cost. If a payment fails, the client may be restricted from booking. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or a custom amount, and gift card sales are final. The salon's about page lists 59 reviews.
