Dawn is a hair salon on Old Colony Avenue in South Boston. Its services are grouped into haircuts and hair coloring, and clients can book through the salon's booking page, by video chat consultation, or through a stylist's own booking link. According to the booking page, the salon is open Sunday from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday from 9 AM to 2 PM, Tuesday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Wednesday from 8 AM to 3 PM, and is closed Thursday through Saturday. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment.

Starting prices on the booking page include a short haircut for $80 (about 45 minutes), a long haircut for $95 (one hour), and a blow-dry from $55. Single process color with a blow-dry is $110, a virgin single process from $125, and a single process with a cut is $190. Foil work starts at $170 for partial foil and $190 for full foil, with partial foil and cut from $250. Balayage, which is hand-painted highlighting, starts at $240, and a full head of baby lights is $290 and takes about three and a half hours. A glaze is $55, and a glaze with a blow-dry or a haircut is $85 or $120. Clean-up, a quick trim of the neck, sideburns and minor touch-ups, is free for existing clients. A custom color consultation for new color is free and takes about 15 minutes. First-time clients booking appointments over two hours are asked for a $50 deposit.

The salon carries Davines, Kevin Murphy and Rabbit Brush products and runs a recycling program. It describes itself as very eco-friendly and says it produces no trash other than paper towels and small tea bag or bar wrappers.

The team includes master stylists Elle and Liz Grace, and stylists Ben Warren, Cheryl, Fran and Melanie. Liz Grace also works as a cosmetic tattooist, offering lip blush, powder brows and 3D areola tattoos alongside her hair work.
