The salon names healthy hair as its first priority. Hair services range from deep conditioning, oil treatments and scalp work to silk presses, weave maintenance, and weave, frontal, lace closure and wig installs. Frontals and closures are brought in two to four days ahead so they can be customized, and hair should arrive washed, dried and free of oil unless a wash is booked. The salon also offers care advice on how long to wear each style and when to wash before a braiding appointment. It also runs a youth beauty and business training program in Compton, according to an Instagram post.
Loc coloring covers everything from patch work and ombré to full-head bleach and root retouches, with pricing by area or by length. Waxing covers the brows, face, underarms, bikini, Brazilian, legs and a men's manscaping service, and brow waxes can be paired with a tint that lasts about three weeks. Men can book a facial and facial hair session that uses organic products, and the salon also offers a vajacial and lash, brow and wax packages.
Because seating is limited, children and extra guests are not allowed during appointments. Late fees apply after 15 minutes late, and a cancellation policy applies to appointments cancelled within 30 minutes of the start time. Brow wax and shape bookings need a $10 deposit paid through Cash App or Venmo to confirm. The salon says it has a 4.9 Yelp rating from 105 reviews, according to its website.
The salon says healthy hair comes first, and it gives care guidance for weaves, braids, crochet and pressed hair.
