Dapper Don Kutz was founded in 2022 by co-owners JT and Nikki. It has two locations: one inside Unique Salon Suites of Plano Lexington on North Central Expressway in Plano, and one on South Custer Road in McKinney.

The shop provides both classic and contemporary barbering and hair salon work for men, women and kids. Every appointment begins with a joint talk about the cut, so the style is shaped around what the client wants. According to the salon, its goal is top-tier client satisfaction, and each grooming and styling service is carried out with careful attention to small details.

The atmosphere is meant to be welcoming and relaxed. Clients can talk, listen to music or watch television during their appointment.

Each service begins with a collaborative consultation to plan a haircut suited to the individual client.
