The menu is organized around facials, including Aqua Facial and Oxygeno Facial options in 60- and 90-minute lengths, and a range of HydraFacial versions: face only, back, acne treatment, anti-aging, and a version combined with dermaplaning. Dermaplaning is an exfoliation treatment performed with a medical-grade scalpel. Massage choices run from short Scandinavian facial and scalp treatments to Swedish, deep tissue, Thai, hot stone, candle, pre-natal and couples sessions.

Nail and pedicure services use Salt of the Earth mineral products, and the spa has a retail mixing bar for them. Waxing covers most areas of the body, and Brazilian waxing uses a specially formulated hard wax. Prices for most waxing areas start at a figure that depends on the amount of hair.

The spa says its facial and nail tools are sanitized in an FDA-approved medical-grade autoclave. It also says its polishes are free of toluene, DBP and formaldehyde and are described as non-carcinogenic. The massage therapists are licensed, and the estheticians are trained in advanced skin care.

Spa packages bundle treatments into a single booking. Options include a gentleman's package, a birthday package, an exhausted mom package, a package with lunch, an escape for two and a bridal package. Services can also be bought as a series at a discounted price. Private in-spa parties can be arranged with advance scheduling.

Booking policies: spa package reservations need a valid credit card or gift certificate number, and first-time reservations need a credit card. Cancellations require 24 hours' notice on weekdays, 48 hours on Fridays and Saturdays, and 72 hours for packages and Sunday appointments, and no-shows and late cancellations are charged. Clients are asked to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early and to silence their phones. Gift certificates expire after six months unless stated otherwise and are not refundable, and product purchases are allowed only with gift certificates bought directly from the spa. The spa states that a tip of 15 to 20 percent is customary when clients are happy, with cash preferred.

The spa says it has been featured in DaySpa Magazine and Northern Virginia Magazine, has received Best of Occoquan massage awards from the U.S. Commerce Association in several years, and has been mentioned in Washingtonian and the Our Town Paper. It also says its HydraFacial has been featured on national television.

The spa describes its body treatments as a way for clients to feel and look better while learning about their bodies, and it customizes facial care to skin type and condition.
