Booking is by appointment only from Wednesday through Sunday; the salon is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Every new client has a prepaid consultation, at $50, before any service is performed or price is quoted. Deposits can be paid through PayPal, Venmo, Google Pay or invoice, and a request is only confirmed once the deposit arrives. Requests without a deposit within 24 hours are declined. Cancellations made at least 48 hours ahead carry no penalty, while those made less than 24 hours ahead are charged a $50 fee. Virtual consultations are offered only to clients moving from out of state or out of town, and require prior correspondence to be approved.

The menu is broad. Braiding includes perimeter braids, men's cornrows, crochet braids, children's protective styles for kids 12 and under, and lock-style variations such as inverted or fishtail braids, barrel rolls and pipe cleaner sets. Color services are priced hourly and offered only on healthy hair after a consultation. Cuts include blunt trims and precision cuts with shampoo and blow-dry. Men's services include line-ups, tapers and fades. Treatments include a steam treatment with distilled water, a bentonite clay deep clarifying treatment, and an apple cider vinegar loc detox.
