Braids are offered by appointment only. Clients can choose between styles with or without extensions, and can bring their own feed-in hair if they send photos ahead of time. Before a braid appointment, hair should be dry and free of knots, and clients are asked to arrive with hair unwashed for two to three days. Top braids and undercuts need a minimum length of about three inches, and the salon notes that braids usually last three to seven days depending on care and hair texture.
Extension work is a large part of the menu. Handtied extensions are installed without heat, tape or glue, using a row of beads. Installation includes a haircut for blending, styling, a travel-size oil and an extension brush, but coloring the natural hair is extra. New handtied clients book a consultation first, and extension hair is purchased before the installation date. Maintenance is needed about every six weeks, and returning later carries an additional fee.
Color work covers root touch-ups, all-over color, foil highlights, babylights, balayage, platinum lightening and color correction. A complimentary consultation is offered to plan services, and it is suggested for extensions and color corrections, where pricing starts at a set hourly rate and the final quote comes after consultation. Cut and color services include a blow-dry and style. Smoothing treatments are also offered, with several types available and the right one chosen at the appointment.
Parking is free in front of the salon and on nearby streets. Bridal clients can book a trial run to preview a style before the wedding, and event hair is available as a shampoo, blow-dry and style or as an updo.
Danielle focuses on making appointments relaxed through conversation, with the goal of good hair results and clients leaving feeling less stressed.
