Color is the largest group. All Over Color puts one shade across the whole head for full coverage, including grey coverage and jet black. Highlights are a blend of high and low lights, usually two or more colors, in blonde or other shades. Peek A Boo colors a single section in a different shade. Color is a permanent chemical change, so the final tone can differ from the shade chosen depending on the hair's chemistry. Color appointments run long, and clients are asked to arrive with stretched hair, such as freshly blow-dried straight hair or an older silk press. Anyone who has colored, bleached, rinsed or relaxed their hair in the past five years is asked to book a color consultation first. Clients usually confirm their chosen shade by text after booking, though this is not needed for jet black.

Hair services include pixie cuts with maintenance styling, silk presses, relaxers and retouches, smoothing treatments, clip-in extension installs and quick weave bobs. Relaxer retouches cover new growth only and are booked six to eight weeks after the last relaxer. Clients need to wait a week after taking down a protective style before a relaxer, and avoid shampooing or scratching the scalp, invigorating oils and edge control during that week. Micro-link and tape-in extensions require an in-person consultation before installation, where the stylist examines the hair and scalp, extensions are bought, and upkeep is discussed.

Booking and visit details: the studio is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, and is closed Monday, Wednesday and Sunday. A deposit holds the appointment but is non-refundable and non-transferable, and it is credited toward the service. Clients must be 13 or older. Every service includes a shampoo and deep conditioning treatment. Hair must be detangled and any braids or twists removed before the visit. Clients with long or dense natural hair may be charged an extra fee, quoted at the appointment. A $5.00 processing fee applies to remaining balances paid by card. The studio does not treat severe scalp conditions such as dermatitis or psoriasis, or significant hair loss, and refers those clients to a doctor.

Consultations come before the services that need them, including color for clients with a chemical history and micro-link or tape-in extensions. The studio is upfront that permanent color depends on hair chemistry, so the final tone may vary from the chosen shade.
