Cut by Ali is located at 1053 South Coast Highway 101 in Encinitas. Ali Rose is the stylist here, and the studio is open Monday, Thursday and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM.

Ali has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. She trained at the Aveda Institute Denver, then apprenticed under Nick Arrojo and other senior stylists at Arrojo Studio in New York City.

The studio offers a 60-minute haircut session for men and women for $125, which includes a wash and style. There is also a 30-minute bangs and face frame service for $65, which does not include a shampoo and blowdry, and it needs clean, dry hair when booked.

Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice. Appointments canceled with less notice are charged the full service fee.

Cuts are custom and artistic, built around each client's features, personality and style. Ali says staying inspired and sharp is what lets her bring her best work to each appointment.
