Curls HTX

Curls HTX opened in 2019 as a two-person salon in a small space at 2440 South Blvd. #110 in Houston. The salon centers on natural curl care and works with curly, coily and wavy textures. The team has 18+ years of combined experience, and the salon describes its curly-hair care as expert.

A visit is meant to feel calm, comfortable and relaxed. The Style and Cleanse session, priced from $75, covers a wash, conditioning, detangling, styling and an education session, so clients leave knowing how to care for their curls. Deep conditioning treatments are on the menu at $30 to $70+.

New clients are accepted by waitlist only, and openings come up when an appointment is canceled, with no set timeframe. The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., by appointment only.

Cancellations or reschedules need at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations under 48 hours, no-shows, and late arrivals over 15 minutes that cannot be accommodated are charged the full cost of the scheduled service, and future bookings pause until any fee is paid. Haircut clients are asked to arrive with curls detangled, dry and in their natural state with light to minimal product, and to let hair hang loose without ponytail holders or clips. Lot parking is on-site and street parking is nearby. Clients are asked not to bring extra guests, except a parent accompanying a child who is getting a service.
