Before opening in Houston, Roswitha trained and worked as a hairdresser in Germany, and later ran her own salon in Augsburg from 1981 to 1997. The salon describes her as one of Houston's most experienced master stylists, with more than 40 years of cutting and styling behind her.
A visit usually starts with a complimentary consultation, which is also where corrective color is quoted. Services fall into Cut & Style, Color and Additional Services. Pricing depends on the level of stylist or colorist: haircuts for women start at $68 with a Stylist, $70 with a Top Stylist and $78 with a Head Stylist, while men's and children's haircuts start at $38, $40 and $45 at the same levels.
Color is built around Aveda, which the salon describes as plant-derived with natural modifiers meant to help prevent unwanted tones and resist fading, and Wella Koleston Perfect, which comes in 107 shades. Some clients travel to the salon from other cities and states for their appointments.
