Custom curly cuts are done dry, with wash, styling and diffusing included in the custom dry cut. They take an average of 1.5 to 2 hours, sometimes longer, which is why they cost more than a typical cut. The salon describes them as an affordable option over time because they grow out easily and last four to six months or longer, and curly cuts are generally recommended two to three times a year. Express curly cut is a dry maintenance cut without a wash, meant to keep an existing shape, and it is available to established clients only. Clients who plan to straighten after a cut can mention it in advance so the shape can be refined.
Hard water treatments are a focus. Hard Water Detox and Micro Mist Therapy includes a water hardness test and a customized at-home care plan, and clients are asked to bring a sample of their home tap water. A standalone Curl and Water Analysis Consultation is an in-salon water test with an at-home curl plan. Buying two or more recommended products totaling $30 or more earns a $30 credit toward retail purchases with that consultation. Other add-ons include Deep Conditioning Bliss with Nano Micro Mist, a Peppermint Scalp Exfoliation, an Olaplex bond-rebuilding treatment, a K18 leave-in, and a hot towel with aromatherapy.
Color services include Shine Hair Glaze, which starts at $75 and lasts up to six weeks, and a Color Root Touch Up for grey coverage for established guests. Other color services are limited and require a consultation first, so new clients are asked to message about color. A $25 in-person consultation is available, and the fee is applied to a future appointment if one is booked.
For a visit, clients should arrive with dry hair and no product, except a leave-in, and should not tie their hair back. Clients who arrive up to 15 minutes late will likely still be seen, though finishing touches may not fit. On arrival, clients wait in their car and text the salon, then are met at the front door. Bookings are made online and require a valid credit card to reserve, which is not charged at booking. Cancellations and reschedules should be made 24 to 48 hours ahead, and late changes may incur a 25% service fee. Payment is accepted by cash, credit card and Apple Pay at the end of the appointment, and gift cards are available through the booking site.
The salon focuses on helping clients feel positive about their natural curl texture and tailors advice on products, sleeping and diffusing to each client's lifestyle and budget.
