Appointments are by appointment only, and same-day openings may appear online or by phone. Every visit starts with a consultation covering the client's hair, curl type and lifestyle. Clients are asked to arrive 10 minutes early with their hair dry, down and detangled, since extra detangling adds to the price along with longer service time.

Curls are cut dry, without combs or tension, so the natural shape and length can be seen during the cut. Haircut prices stay the same regardless of length, except for a full clipper cut. Color prices are starting base prices, and the final quote is set at the consultation based on the service, hair density and texture. Complimentary consultations that include a hair health evaluation can be booked separately.

The salon is on Ewing Avenue between Drew Avenue and Ewing Avenue off 50th Street, entered through the main entrance. A shared building lot offers free parking, nearby metered street parking is free with timed restrictions, and a public lot across the street has a 3-hour limit.
