First-time guests and anyone not seen in more than 12 months start with a New Client Experience: a first visit with a customized curly cut, a scalp detox, the Hydrating Ritual Detangle, a styling lesson and a drying guide. Returning clients can book a custom curly cut, a dry maintenance cut, or a natural wash-and-go style that includes a full cleanse, a custom conditioning treatment and curl styling, finished by diffuser, hooded dryer or air-dry. Color options range from retouches and glosses to single-process all-over color and hand-painted highlights with a gloss toner.

Parking is in the May Street parking garage, with up to 3 hours validated. Clients text when they are walking over from the garage and again on arrival to be buzzed in. Guests who are not receiving services wait at The Roosevelt Coffeehouse across the courtyard. Clients are asked to arrive with hair washed, conditioned, detangled and styled in its natural curl pattern, fully dry, without ponytails, buns, twist-outs or roller sets, and without brushing or combing on the day or using shea butter, coconut oil or castor oil. If an appointment needs much more time than booked, the price may be adjusted, and the client is told before any change is made.

The studio also offers bridal and special event styling. A trial appointment is required before any bridal booking, and final pricing is set after the trial. On-location styling, travel and earlier call times carry extra fees. Availability is limited, so clients are asked to inquire early, and established clients are recommended for bridal bookings. Styles are based on each client's natural curl pattern, and twist-outs, braid-outs and extensions are not offered. For clients who want guidance at home, a virtual curl coaching session covers product recommendations and step-by-step styling tips.

Each cut and haircare routine is built around the client's curl pattern and goals, with an emphasis on realistic expectations and long-term hair health.
