Curative & Co. brings together independent beauty artists in one space in Gilbert. Founder Mary Conley searched for several years for a location before finding Suite 107 in the JD's Homestead building, which is now home to the collective.

The salon's stated mission is to bring beauty, creativity and community together. It aims to offer personalized care and high-quality services, and to give local entrepreneurs a place to work and a chance to grow.

The space is described as modern and welcoming, set up for creative work and self-care. Scalp renewal is the salon's signature treatment. The 60-minute session is priced at $100 and includes a detox and exfoliating cleanse, a hydrating scalp mask with a hot steam towel, a scalp, neck and hand massage, and a conditioning treatment that the salon describes as award-winning. The 90-minute session costs $140 and adds a longer scalp and neck massage and a foot massage. Products come from the Briogeo line. Clients do not need to shampoo beforehand, but should arrive with their hair brushed out and detangled. Scalp renewal focuses on the scalp and does not include styling. Hair is towel-dried or lightly blown dry, and a full style can be added if requested in advance.

Scalp renewal is not recommended while extensions are installed, but it is suggested between installs. The salon suggests repeating it every 6 to 10 weeks, and recommends it before blonding services because a toner used during the treatment can affect hair color.

Beyond the salon floor, Golden Key Boutique sells individual gift items and custom gift sets. The salon also offers personalized gifts for bachelorette and bachelor parties, dinner parties, private events and corporate gatherings, and Tress to Impress Events provides hair services for weddings and special events.
