The salon describes its team as knowledgeable, well trained and up to date with current trends and techniques. The goal it names is an exceptional guest experience, and its stylists aim to help each client reach and keep a look that fits their personal style. Its founder built it around a team of creative artists who treat hair as design. The salon calls itself a hometown place with a bit of added sparkle.

Guests are greeted warmly at the door. Some services are by consultation only, and extension pricing is set after a consultation, rising with extra product, longer lengths or denser hair. Listed prices are starting prices and can vary between stylists depending on their level. Clients are asked to book the next appointment before leaving. If you run late, call and the salon will try to fit you in, though a very late arrival may mean rescheduling. Cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice, given by phone, voicemail or email.

The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday and closed Sunday and Monday. It accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AmEx, cash, debit cards and personal checks, but not third-party checks. A $25 fee applies to returned checks. Clients should keep valuables with them during service, since the salon is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items. Pets are not allowed, and clients should mention any allergies or sensitivities to staff.

If you are unhappy with a service, you can return for a redo at no charge when you call to book within one week, and the redo is with the same stylist. Hair services are not refunded, and color done elsewhere will not be redone. A referral program gives both the client and the friend they refer $20 off chemical services when the referral card is presented. Reward points are earned at 1 point per dollar on services and 2 points per dollar on products, and 1000 points redeem for $10 off a product purchase. The salon is also looking for stylists and welcomes new graduates to apply by emailing a resume.

The salon aims for an exceptional guest experience and helps each client achieve and keep a look that suits their personal style.
