The salon sits on Highway 280 in Inverness, a few minutes from Hoover, Greystone, Meadow Brook and Brook Highland and a short drive from Chelsea and Vestavia Hills. It is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 6pm, Wednesday from 10am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm, and it is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

About

Walk-ins are welcome, though booking online lets clients choose a stylist and a time. A visit opens with a free consultation, then a shampoo and conditioning with an optional repair or hydrating mask, and ends with a blowout and notes on caring for the hair at home. Clients who are unsure which stylist suits them can take an online quiz that matches them based on their hair and goals.

Color is the core of the menu, and every color service begins with a complimentary consultation. Options range from glosses and root touch-ups to balayage, partial and full highlights, block color technique and a Platinum Card service that takes about four hours. Color correction requires a consultation first. Extensions use BELLAMI real human hair, color-matched during a free consultation; installs take roughly 1.5 to 3 hours and a move-up is recommended every 6 to 8 weeks. Smoothing options include Keratin Complex and Brazilian Blowout, which typically last several months and about 10 to 12 weeks respectively.

Men can book haircuts, clipper cuts, fades and haircut-and-beard-trim appointments, and guests 12 and younger have their own kids' cut options. Hair health treatments use Moroccanoil and Aluram products for glossing, hydrating and repair masks, and scalp care.

The team includes four stylists trained at Paul Mitchell and Aveda, along with a salon assistant who works the front desk.

The salon says it takes no one-size-fits-all approach to beauty, starting with listening to what clients want so they can be matched with the right stylist and service.

Forest-green stations, velvet lounges, gold lighting and a Moroccanoil and Aluram bar set the tone.
