Nate Wendt created the salon as an eclectic space where art, music and independent artists could share the same room. It sits in the Arts District of northeast Minneapolis, and its artists each run their own work within the shared setting.

Clients can come in through the front entrance on 13th Ave or the side entrance from the parking lot, and should check in at the front. Parking is in a private lot on the west side of the building, with street parking nearby when that lot is full. The salon is open Monday to Friday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 8am to 6pm, and is closed Sundays. Hours can shift with artist availability and client needs.

Clients book with a specific artist through the Artists and Booking page on the website. The team covers short hair and fades, textural cuts, dimensional and fashion color, extensions and dread styles, so a visit is usually planned around one artist's specialty.
