The North Hills studio at 2014D Babcock Blvd keeps these hours: Monday 10am to 6pm, Tuesday through Thursday 10am to 9pm, Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm. It is closed on Sundays. Clients can book online at any hour, and walk-ins are accepted when a chair is free. Because Monday is short-staffed, the salon recommends phoning ahead if you want a specific stylist that day. The Canonsburg studio at 115 W Pike St works by appointment only; bookings are made by phone at 724-514-7231, and pricing is also quoted over the phone. Cancellations or changes need at least 24 hours' notice. A deposit may be asked for before the next visit after a no-show or a late cancellation, and it is held against that particular service.

Every first-time guest has a full consultation before any service. The consultation covers style goals, hair history and lifestyle. For haircuts, the stylist also looks at face shape, hair texture, growth patterns and the daily styling routine before cutting. Pricing for extensions and color is set by estimate after that consultation, and balayage quotes depend on length, density, current color and the change wanted.

Color is a major part of the work. Many balayage clients return every 12 to 16 weeks. Other color options include highlights and lowlights with custom foil placement, blonding in full, platinum, lived-in and bright foil versions with a custom toning process, lived-in color, full color with root touch-ups, and glossing and toning. The salon also lists corrective color for box dye, brassiness, uneven color and over-processing, which requires an in-person consultation. Blonding and balayage are the services clients ask for most, according to the gallery.

Color and finishing work here is done with Wella Professionals and R+Co products, with some Aveda color also used. Two stylists work on the Wella Professionals and R+Co artist teams. The salon notes that Derek Piekarski received the Franz Stroher Global Education Master Trainer Award from Wella Professionals in 2016 and had earlier been part of its North America Signature Artist Team.

Beyond hair, the salon provides facials ranging from a 45-minute teen facial to a 90-minute HydroDiamond Deluxe, along with dermaplaning, chemical peels, face and body waxing, brow and lash care, lash extensions, and manicures, pedicures and gel or acrylic nails. For weddings, the salon offers consultations, trial sessions and day-of styling for brides, bridesmaids, mothers and whole wedding parties. Trials are generally booked 4 to 8 weeks before the wedding, while the salon recommends reserving bridal styling 6 to 12 months in advance.
