The spa's philosophy rests on prevention, the idea that illness is easier to avoid than to treat. It holds that clearing the lymphatic system lets the body do its own healing, and it says its purifying treatments can support that process.

A visit starts with a general health intake form for new clients. Clients are asked to arrive 15 minutes early, since late arrivals lose treatment time, and to skip eating within one to two hours of their start time and avoid perfume, lotion or deodorant before lymphatic therapy. Gowns, slippers and robes are provided, and several services use oil, so clients undress to their own comfort level. Cell phones are not permitted in the spa, and gratuities are not included in the price. Underground parking is available for a small fee, paid at a machine beside the elevator. The spa is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm.

The signature offering is the Signature La Jolla Detox, a three-hour sequence that moves from infrared jade sauna to electro-lymphatic therapy, then lymphatic MediCupping vacuum therapy, and finishes with colon hydrotherapy. Colon hydrotherapy uses warm water or coffee, and guests can choose the Organic Coffee treatment, which the spa says is a client favorite. The spa says its colon hygienists are certified and that its colon hydrotherapy equipment is FDA approved. Disposable products and strict sanitation protocols are used for colon work. Three-, six- or nine-day retreat programs of consecutive treatment days are also available. Retreats do not include overnight lodging, so clients return to their own accommodations each day. Gift certificates are sold for any amount or for specific services.
