Every visit begins with a consultation, which is offered before any service starts. Services are shaped around each client's hair, lifestyle and style goals. A consultation is recommended for major color changes and balayage, and extension and bridal or specialty hair work is also arranged by consultation. Listed prices are base prices; they can shift with hair length, density, condition, the products needed and the stylist's experience level, and color pricing also depends on starting shade, desired result and the services required.

The menu runs from women's cuts, which include reshaping, restyling and maintenance trims, to men's haircuts and blow-dry styling. Color work ranges from subtle blonding to full highlights, hand-painted balayage, toners, root touch-ups, grey coverage, color corrections for unwanted or uneven tones and creative color. Smoothing options include Brazilian Blowouts and a keratin straightening treatment, plus perms. Color maintenance intervals run from 4 to 12 weeks, and balayage clients typically return every 8 to 12 weeks.

Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice. Clients arriving more than 20 minutes late may be asked to reschedule. Repeated missed appointments can result in service being declined. A new booking cannot be made until any earlier appointment at the salon has been paid for in full. The salon's service area covers Lake Zurich, Kildeer, Deer Park, Barrington, Palatine, Hawthorn Woods and Wauconda, along with nearby communities in Lake County.
