Most locs and color services begin with a consultation. A Lock Consultation or Sisterlocks TM Consultation examines hair density, type, length and scalp, and pricing is discussed there. For the Sisterlocks TM consultation, test locks may be installed if needed. Color services are booked after a Color Consultation, where hair history is reviewed and the hair is examined to choose coloring options. Custom Hair Color is not done until that consultation has happened. Microlocks installs also require a consultation before the install day, and starter locs cannot be booked until one is on the calendar.

Hair and scalp services cover a deep conditioning treatment with sulfate-free shampoo, a lock detox that soaks locs in a potion the business describes as natural, and a deeper cleanse for mature locs or locs that have not been detoxed in a while. Silk presses and blowouts are shampooed, conditioned and styled, and their prices rise with longer or denser hair.

Maintenance pricing depends on the work. Traditional Lock Maintenance costs more when new growth passes 1.5 inches, and each lock needing repair or reattachment carries a small added fee.
