Court Clair Hair

Court Clair Hair is a salon in Lutz, Florida, with services grouped under silk press, extensions, natural styles and bridal. Bookings open on the 12th of every other month, and a virtual consultation is available.

The owner states that the mission is to break the stigma around natural hair. The salon approaches clients' natural hair as something to understand rather than correct, and the menu pairs natural styles with silk presses and extension installs.

First-time clients must book under the New Client option, which is required for all new clients. The New Client Experience opens with a consultation on hair history, goals and concerns, then a scalp and hair assessment, a shampoo, a deep conditioning steam treatment, a trim if needed, and a written hair care plan. Extension services are open to new clients after a required consultation.

Hair must be fully detangled and free of previous styles, including braids, cornrows or plaits, before shampooing, and clients should avoid shampooing more than three days before the appointment. Children are not currently accepted as clients. Cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice by email to CourtClairHair@gmail.com; cancellations within 24 hours incur a 50% fee, and same-day cancellations may be charged up to the full service. Reschedules are not offered. Payment is due at the end of the service and may be made by cash, debit card or major credit card.

The salon works to help clients understand and care for their natural hair rather than fixing it, with the owner's stated aim of breaking the stigma around natural hair.
