Concept Cutters has operated as a hair care salon in the Jacksonville and Atlantic Beaches area for over 25 years. Scott Sandstrom bought the business in 2015 when the previous owner retired, and he now leads it as owner and master stylist.
The salon welcomes women of all ages, including mothers and daughters who book together, as well as teens. Men can book wash, cut and style appointments, with or without a beard trim. The focus is on modern and classic haircuts, and the salon recommends a haircut every six to eight weeks, depending on hair type and length.
Visits are one-on-one in a private salon setting, inside Sola Salon next door to L.A. Fitness. The salon says it aims to provide top-quality service, equipment, instruments and products, and that it uses what it considers industry-leading methods and current hair color technology. It is open Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday, and clients can call or text to book on any day of the week. Clients come from Atlantic Beach and nearby Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Ponte Vedra Beach and Jacksonville.
