Color Theory is an independent salon studio in Richboro, set in the Crossroads Plaza shopping center. It works as a salon suite curated by owner and stylist Mark Haas.

Color is the core of the menu. Options run from root breaks and glazes to single process color, mini, partial and full highlights, and single process color paired with a mini highlight. Color and lightening are done with Goldwell products, and Davines and Ouidad are used on the backbar and sold to clients.

Haircuts cover clipper work with fades, undercuts or buzz cuts, short and pixie cuts done entirely with scissors, longer cuts for hair past the earlobes including bobs and shags, and curly cuts shaped with carving and slicing to remove bulk, with Ouidad influence. Styling includes blowdries with a round brush finish, curl, wave and flat iron finishes, and formal styles such as updos and braided looks for events. Lip, chin, cheek and brow waxing are also available.

Hours are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm, Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm, and closed Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Complimentary hot and cold beverages are offered. Consultations are free and can be done in person or by email. Extension pricing depends on the number of strands and the length added, so a consultation is needed for a quote.
