Services are grouped into three menus. New clients and clients returning after a significant change or a gap of four months or more book from the new client menu, which is priced in three time blocks. The maintenance menu is for refining, enhancing or retouching a color palette that is already in place. Add-on services include a deep conditioning treatment, the Malibu Wellness Treatment, the Makeover Treatment, dematting, dry cuts and cut, wash and style.

New clients start by completing a consultation form and booking a consultation online, then pay a $25 booking fee through Venmo, Apple Pay or PayPal and text their full name to the salon's phone number to confirm. The Makeover Treatment is required for every new client. The full consultation takes place on that appointment day and covers what is realistic for the hair, upkeep, pricing, and a strand test to see how the hair lightens.

Color pricing includes the haircut, bond protector, treatments and styling. New client pricing also covers extra product and extra time, so there are no product charges added at the end of the visit. Formulas and processes are recorded in client notes so a color can be recreated later. Guests can enjoy mimosas, water, coffee, premium teas and savory snacks, and the studio offers Wi-Fi and device chargers. Clients also receive holiday and birthday gifts.

Color and lightening are planned to be as gentle on the hair as the result allows, with an emphasis on low-maintenance, lived-in dimension.
