She works as an independent stylist who rents a chair in salons and also takes on weddings, photo shoots and fashion shows on location.

New clients start with a consultation, which can be in person, by phone or by FaceTime, and it is required for anyone unsure what service they need or who has not colored their hair in the three months before the appointment. Extension clients need a consultation one week ahead. The studio is open Tuesday to Friday from 11am to 7:30pm and Saturday from 9am to 3pm, and it is closed Sunday and Monday.

Balayage is the core of the menu. The salon describes itself as offering the ultimate balayage on Halsted. Options range from mini and partial touch-ups to full application, plus a teased balayage technique for cooler blonde results. Bleach services include Oleplex or B3 in the price, and extensions are made from 100% natural human hair in straight or natural wave textures.

Consultation before a first booking helps match each service to the client's hair and goals. Free hand painted pieces are an increasing focus.
