Color & Craft Salon operates as a small independent studio in central Culver City, offering a relaxed, lighthearted atmosphere. Owner Elaina Wilcox launched the business after previously working in the Culver City area. Services cover haircuts, color, styling, treatments and waxing.

Clients who book color or other chemical services can start with a free consultation of about 15 minutes. Bookings are made by phone or text, and clients suggest a preferred date and time. Listed prices are starting rates; they can rise with the amount of product, the time needed or hair length, and extra-long or thicker hair may cost more.

Stylists keep their own schedules, so clients who want a particular stylist should contact that person directly. Services lasting over an hour require a $50 deposit. Chemical services carry a $50 cancellation fee when rescheduled with 12 to 24 hours' notice, and clients who no-show must pay a $50 deposit to rebook. If a color or cut isn't working within 10 days, the salon will evaluate it and offer a realistic solution. Hair services are not refunded or discounted.

The salon is open Monday to Friday 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday 11 AM to 4 PM. Metered parking is on Main Street. The Cardiff street garage at 3846 Cardiff Ave offers one hour free, though the salon cannot validate it.

Believes beautiful hair does not need to be overly complicated, that strong customer service and technical skill are central to a good visit, and that healthy hair matters for everyone.
